Hello Queen - I’m Marilyn Shimp, Founder and CEO of The EmpowHERed Woman, LLC!

I’m an Entrepreneur and Mindset & Transformational Coach utilizing my unique personal journey and experience as a successful female in leadership to help YOU find what YOU are uniquely created to do on this earth and put together a plan of action to change your life.

I’ve been in your shoes:

• A stressed-out busy woman trying to balance career and family while working crazy hours and sacrificing my wellness and relationships.

• As a mom, I was overwhelmed by trying to juggle career and family.

• As a high achiever I couldn’t seem to maintain performance without periods of burnout.

• Turns out I was holding back due to limiting beliefs and self-sabotage

I spent YEARS going through the motions every day meanwhile putting on my game face so everyone would think I had it “all together”…exhausting right? When my daughter moved away to college, I hit my version of rock bottom. I had basically spent all of my adult years pouring in to her and everyone else and all of a sudden I looked in the mirror and had no idea who the woman was staring back at me!

I made a decision that I was no longer going to be sad, angry, tired, depressed or lost. I was tired of being tired so I prayed for answers. God sent an amazing mindset coach my way who helped me heal my traumas, learn what I wanted (and didn’t want) and ignited a fire inside of me!

And so, The EmpowHERed Woman was birthed out of my belief that my unique purpose here on earth is to empower other women to live the best life they can possibly live and to be the very best version of themselves!
